Chicagoland's premier dropzone - skydiving license info
So you want to get your skydiving license? You've come to the right place, Chicagoland's Skydive Midwest is Chicago's premier skydiving center.
To get your skydiving license, or 'skydiving a-license' you'll have to complete the following jumps. We have listed them below for you. - Ground School (5-8 hours) $90.00
- Your first jump ( AFF with 2 instructors - stability/awareness ) $189.00
- Your second jump ( AFF with 2 instructors - turning / forward ) $189.00
- Your third jump ( AFF with 2 instructors - first no contact ) $189.00
- Jump 4 ( with 1 instructor - no contact turning ) $159.00
- Jump 5 ( with 1 instructor - advanced turning ) $159.00
- Jump 6 ( with 1 instructor - turning, unstable maneuvers ) $159.00

Student skydiver jump prices include
For each jump the following is included in the price:
The parachute equipment, the rig/container with a state of the art main parachute, a state of the art reserve parachute, a aff-program specific parachute harness/container, an automatic opening device for the reserve parachute. A helmet, all skydiving students are required by the USPA ( United States Parachute Association ) to wear a helmet untill they receive their a-license. Also we will provide an altimeter, a jumpsuit, radios and will repack your equipment for you after you land. When jumping with an AFF-instructor or a USPA-coach you will receive a briefing before and after the jump. We will also provide you with a logbook where you keep track of your progress. Basically you're all taken care of! Just come in comfortable clothing and wear tennis/gym shoes for your skydive.
